TRACS Today
TRACS submissions and use of the TRACS database
will be more important this year than ever before. We expect HUD
to closely monitor use of TRACS reports to ensure accuracy of
information reported through EIV. It is important to understand
how the system records and reports on your submissions.
In addition, HUD will be releasing TRACS 202D in 2012. Be
prepared for the changes to the TRACS rules, changes to forms
(50059 & voucher) and changes to error messages.
Due to the numerous changes that affect the
TRACS process, the training materials are updated every 60 to 90
days. This class will provide you and your team with the most
up-to-date information available in the industry.
EIV Today
Are you creating more work than necessary with
implementation of EIV? During the afternoon session, we will
step back and review EIV Best Practices. This is not “basic” EIV
instruction, but rather a chance to discuss ideas that might
make EIV compliance easier. Let’s discuss “best practices”
designed to help you 1) reduce the number of reports and
documents included in the Master File 2) keep from running
reports over and over again and 3) simplify the way you handle
discrepancies. Let’s step back for a minute and discuss ways to
make EIV easier to use and we’ll show you how it can really
help.

Leverage
your training costs and avoid the need to travel by taking
advantage of RBD's customized, where-you-are training services. By
removing staff travel costs and related staff expenses, your
per-person fees are significantly lower. This means you get:
-
Lower,
overall training costs
-
Curriculum tailored to your policies and procedures
-
Better
use of staff time
-
More
people trained for your training dollar.
Each
participant receives an in-depth workbook specifically written to
act as a valuable reference tool after the training is
completed.
In general, customized training is cost-effective with a minimum
of 20 participants, but smaller audiences can be accommodated.
We base the cost of customized training on the following:
-
Number
of participants
-
Type
and length of training
-
Material development, production and shipping
-
Travel
and lodging costs for the trainer
RBD uses
these factors to establish a base fee for an agreed-upon number of
participants. Estimates for travel, material development,
reproduction and shipping are provided. If the number of attendees
exceeds the agreed-upon minimum, we add a per-student fee for each
additional participant.
