Secure Systems users and coordinators who access HUD'sEnterprise Income Verification System (EIV) or the Tenant Rental AssistanceCertification System (TRACS) are required to complete the Cyber AwarenessChallenge each year. Staff with access to EIV reports, because they have accessto tenant files, are required to complete this training as well.
In past years, we have been instructed to complete thetraining for Federal Employees. HUD's IT Security Office has advised that theFederal Version link has been removed from the website.
The next time you are due to complete your annualCyberAwareness Challenge, all federal employees, contractors and businesspartners are to utilize the DoD Employee course version -Cyber AwarenessChallenge Department of Defense Version. The Cyber Awareness ChallengeVersion 4 updated in August 2016 can be found athttp://iase.disa.mil/eta/Pages/index.aspx.
The MultifamilyHousing Programs Security Administration Manual located athttp://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/housing/mfh/rhiip/eiv/eivappshas been updated to reflect the change.

Since HUDhas indicated that we should expect an increase in the number of Management &Occupancy Reviews (MOR) conducted in 2016, we have created a class to allowowner/agents and property managers to take a step back and review HUD'smultifamily occupancy requirements. This is not a review of basic requirements, but rather a discussion about best practices designed to help you identifycommon mistakes that may otherwise be revealed during the MOR.
Trainingincludes sample forms, notices and checklists.
