Because of changes introduced through HOTMA, HUD will provide new leases which must be executed by owner/agents and all adult family members. In many states, when issuing new leases, owner/agents must also include new attachments. Use this notice to let residents know there is a new lease and that all adults must sign the later of 1) the end of the 30-day notice or 2) 30 days before the current lease end date. Lease changes and changes to lease attachments may only be effective at the end of a lease term.
