It’s that time again and all TRACS Coordinators must certify TRACS Users no later than Friday, January 31, 2022. Certifying TRACS Users is required in order to ensure they can continue to send TRACS files and receive TRACS messages.
Current TRACS Users and TRACS Coordinators can begin this process December 13, 2021, and TRACS Coordinators must complete all User Certifications by January 31, 2022.

Don’t delay! Completing the TRACS User Certification process now will ensure that your certification and voucher transmission processing will not be interrupted.
Just to provide a quick summary, owner/agents should be sure to follow HUD’s Security Requirements related to TRACS
Note: If for some reason, a TRACS User or TRACS Coordinator did not save the TRACS ROB, a copy of the TRACS ROB can be access from HUD’s TRACS web page https://www.hud.gov/sites/documents/TRACSROB.PDF.
Note: For new TRACS Users and TRACS Coordinators, if the Cyber Awareness Challenge has not already been completed, then it must be completed within 30 days of accepting the TRACS ROB. For existing TRACS Users and TRACS Coordinators, the requirement is to complete the Cyber Awareness Challenge at least every twelve months but this training does not have to be completed at any particular time.
